Sharma feels that the biggest challenge in the industry is managing transport operations and F&B – as it is highly challenging to achieve more than 60% to 70% CSAT in these areas. He says, “The success factor is keeping stakeholders duly informed about any challenges, especially since aggregators have come into the market. We also work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs during critical business requirements and cater to them on priority.”
Oracle carries out preventive maintenance programmes from time to time and believes in a proactive approach, rather than reactive. At Oracle India, the way forward is green, energy-efficient and sustainable buildings. Sharma believes that remote working is going to be a new trend, considering the time employees spend while commuting
to office.
Facility management is a growing and evergreen industry in India. As the operating costs are cheaper compared to other geographical locations, he suggests young executives take up this profession, since it is going to be a critical function in the future across industries.
