Rajiv Ranjan Sharma
With a career spanning over two decades, Sharma has garnered a dearth of experience across diverse sectors, managing varied portfolio. Adept with this knowledge, he also serves as honorary board member on the board of iNFHRA, where he vehemently discusses several new initiatives, at par with the set standards, and constantly strives towards raising awareness within the FM industry about them.
After having served in some of the most arduous sectors like factories, food industry, GDS, pharmaceutical, medical, etc, he started his current term with the BFSI segment, another new segment with all new challenges and learnings. At every stage through his career, he works towards creating the right strategies to deliver his responsibilities as a FM, while also being aligned with current initiatives of the entities.
He first understands the current scenario, and then, develops a standard MIS format that is capable of providing current status, keeping in mind new initiatives. This gives the opportunity to plan and implement corrective steps and enhance delivery. “Our frame work was focused on four key parameters – financials, people, compliance and asset management. The entire department is fully aligned and every stakeholder is aware and working towards the aim. This is a continuous process; we have to set targets, challenge ourselves and work to achieve them,” summarises Sharma.
