“Challenging the status quo and continuous innovation is the need of the hour. Companies with larger footprint and multiple centers often experience situations, where there are a number of vendors for services and AMCs are getting expired/renewed across the year. The best practice is to consolidate and plan them so that one can have better control over renewal and negotiate with vendors by offering volumes,” asserts Tewari, who also serves as the honorary board member for iNFHRA.
Costs are shrinking and investments are becoming a challenge. In this era of technology, most solutions can be made available at the touch of a button. “The right use of technology impacts both the performance of work and where we work. New and different types of workplaces such as assigned, shared, flexible or virtual workplaces, as well as home offices, are becoming a new trend,” opines Tewari.
