India is a strategic site for Adobe, as it plays an instrumental role in the overall growth of the company as a key contributor to its intellectual property creation. Recognising this drive, the organisation demonstrated a complete overhaul in the design of its facilities, which accommodate a workforce of over 4,500 employees, i.e. a third of Adobe’s global workforce. As true for any corporate organisation, facility managers have a paramount influence over the outcome of its workspace and Sethi, along with the architects and designers, effectively interpreted Adobe’s goals and ambitions in the office buildings.

Adobe’s campuses are equipped with infrastructure and facilities that enable 24×7 operability. Given this, establishing efficient and economical strategies within its office building was imperative. To meet LEED Gold standards, the campuses embody innovative and efficient design solutions and put together, the numbers are significant to operations.
As successful facility managers of such a large conglomerate, rather than wishing for the CEO to discuss day-to-day operations of the facility, the FM team of Adobe India instead works towards understanding the expectations of the management, by putting themselves in their shoes. Sethi believes that one must be able to deliver optimum performance in key areas such as comfort, uptime for critical facilities, or flexibility to respond to changing business conditions.
