Space and people must have a co-relation to create an environment for productivity and enhance user experience. Mistakes stem from lack of business objectives and the kind of work people do as the space must work for them, believes Pinny. To have a great project delivery, Pinny always partners with multiple business users – with prime focus on vision, users’ mindset, market, latest trends in workplace, ergonomics and indoor air quality – as this always helps the project in the long term.
Service providers are an extended arm to real estate leaders. They have the bandwidth to support with a pool of manpower, knowledge/experience of leaders in the industry, and Pinny leverages the same at Microsoft “In India, we do not treat this job as a profession. It is still treated as a menial task with a low pay. Work needs to be done in creating awareness on the its importance and delivery. I often say ‘if workplace is not ready in the morning, how can business function,” she says.
Shedding light on the commitment to give back to the society and creating the opportunity for an inclusive world, Pinny adds that,“In continuing to practice Microsoft’s diversity agenda of supporting, encouraging and providing an inclusive environment, we have further strengthened our RE&F team key locations by on-boarding resources with delayed neurodevelopment. They have joined the RE&F family as a part of the café & mail support team. They create an optimistic aura that is conducive for employees. In addition, with a strong positive outlook and attitude towards life, they motivate other employees to push themselves to their fullest potential and appreciate the unique value they bring to the table,” shares Pinny.
