Ravinder Yadav
Ernst & Young always strives to streamline best practices in the FM industry. The ‘Stand-up Work Zones’ (SUWZ) have been appreciated by users across many EY locations and recognised by the industry as a great employee wellness initiative. Generally there is a tendency to resist any change without knowing the full benefits and experiencing it. Yadav faced similar challenges. However, doing customer engagement pro-actively, sharing the benefits of the initiatives and larger objectives contributing to organisation and environment enabled them to successfully launch a better transport solution to the employees. They continued to improvise transport routing to ensure even the last 5% of users are accommodated.
Yadav believes that several initiatives can be planned by an organisation based on its vision, business model and location, contributing to initiatives that are on similar lines with environment sustainability – such as undertaking energy projects, water and power conservation programmes, transport solutions, control on carbon emissions, etc, using tools and technology for overall development of business and economy.
