‘Art works’: Artistically executed RSVP Office by Minnie Bhatt Design

This project exudes a warm and creative environment brimming with artistic inspiration

Minnie Bhatt Design had previously designed an office in the same building. Hence, this project has similar aesthetics, keeping in line with the workspace vibe. Located in Mumbai, the area of the office is 6000 sqft.

The entrance ceiling has a fun metal installation with light bulbs and a backlit signage. There is a large canvas print of one of their previous movies on one wall.

As you enter the office, there is an open meeting space to the right, with an art installation inspired by their very well received movie, “URI”.

The workstations are personalized with finger board tops and colourful channels to house small potted plants.

The ceiling of the central area has suspended acoustic boards and along with it artworks, created with movie dialogues which is suspended in between the boards. This is read in a perspective view as you enter or exit the office.

The café is designed to be a warm space. It has a seating arrangement created around a chevron patterned, brick clad column, a community table and a wooden tile floor.

The art in this space is photos of movie shoots in progress.

There is another art piece created with wire and inspired by a movie camera patent. This is mounted on a raw seporex wall.

The directors’ cabins and enclosed meeting spaces have partitions created with a combination of glass, veneer and metal to form an interesting grid.

The paintings chosen for these areas along with the rugs and table lamps lend warmth to the working spaces. We have used coloured glass films strategically, to add colour to the clear glass partitions.

The conference room has a faux stone table with metal legs, a large back-painted glass to serve as a writing board and a creative art installation with hand painted sketches of movie related elements and few 3D objects too.

The names of the meeting rooms are fixed onto a metal member created for this purpose, next to the cabin doors.

There is a section of the space that has the finance team’s workstations. Here, too, we have used paintings and wallpaper along with small potted plants to enliven the space.

This project, just like its predecessor, hits the eye as a warm and creative environment brimming with artistic inspiration.
