The 17th edition of the Shaw Contract (a brand of Shaw Industries, a Berkshire Hathaway Group Company) Design Awards once again places a spotlight on a diverse range of talents from across the globe, celebrating design in action and its social impact on the community. The company has received a great response to the submission process which ended on 24 June 2022.
All the projects entered now will proceed to the first stage of judging; where an elite panel of design leaders will collaborate in each region to select the “Best of Region” winners.
Regional judging will include geographies such as Asia, Australia & New Zealand, Canada, India, Greater China, Latin America, Middle East & Africa, UK & Continental Europe & the USA.
The India panel includes:
- Geetika Jain, Design Director RSP;
- Subashish Mandal, Design Director, Gensler;
- Sheetal Rakheja, AEON Design;
- Swaviman Das, Director (India) Space Matrix;
- Poonam Kothare, Associate Director, M Moser;
- Gaurav Premchandani MD & Designer JOI Design India; and
- Sabarno De, Vertical Head Interiors, Edifice Consultants.
The Best of Region winners will be announced in August 2022.
