Piramal Group operates across sectors such as pharmaceuticals, healthcare information management, financial services, speciality glass packaging and real estate. Their new facility consolidates their existing five offices across Mumbai under one roof.
Challenge was to create a facility that would meet the demands and visions of their different business units that had previously worked independently of each other. A balance of both formal and informal settings catering both to their clients and employees was also an important aspect of the design brief.
As part of the design strategy, the design team hosted workshops that enabled the stakeholders to share their expectations. The office is divided into self-sufficient neighborhoods that cater to each team’s functional requirements.
Reception, collaboration, and meeting areas have a more formal hospitality feel while the open office spaces have a homely feel and a relaxed vibe. The strategic placement of enclosed meeting rooms, pantry, and collaboration spaces help maximise space utilisation and bring in as much natural light as possible.
