Text description provided by the architects. This quaint little restaurant in RA Puram – Binge asana and Smoking Hog, together conceived as BA+SH, is an exclusive accord of a vegetarian brand and completely non – vegetarian brand that provides the best of both worlds under one roof. Black, Orange and white being the potent color palette, the space exudes a frisky ambience. The objective of the interior space was it needing to be an extension of the brands itself and in a coherent manner.

The protagonist of the space, immediately capturing your attention is the black and white pattern tile flooring that creates the perfect margin for bursts of orange that accentuate the space.

The integration of arch doors by itself introduces an innate charm that elevates the overall mood of the space, which then leads to the ice cream booth acting as a clear wayfinder.
Retaining the eccentricity of pattern play by the grills that contributes to the old – world charm, along with the live edge table that introduces a whole new facet to the interiors, all while bridging and binding together the different layers of textures, colours and patterns into a solid space to dine in.

Employing an assorted arrangement of seating in conjunction with wooden accents, complements the overall vibe of the restaurant. Adding to that, it also serves as an interactive element among the diners furnishing them with a variety of choices. A black ceiling in the company of dangling black pendants lending ample light ensures a cozy familiarity within the space.

Along with so many components that grab your eye and are talking points, the introduction of contrasting textures and a confluent mixture of old and new elements, uplift the overall dining experience. The engagement of playful artworks opens the doors to a peculiar and flavorful visual sample for the diners.

Draping the lower half of the walls with carbon black and continuing the same on the ceiling is a careful play of degree within the space to establish a sense of compactness.
To break the geometricity of the flooring, was introduced an organic form, that is the live edge table. The idea was to translate the contrast between pork and ice cream by deftly blending colours and forms that bring surprises at every turn and is entirely refreshing.
