Commercial Design Awards 2022: Concept Consilio bags the ‘Interior Fit-out Project of the Year’ award

It was amazing to see the team from Concept Consilio come together as one, along with the firm’s director, Ashwin Aryamane (centre), to accept the award. The firm won the award for their stellar work delivered for the British Petroleum office – a workplace that exudes a futuristic character with harmonious inlay of technology and biophilia.

The Commercial Design Awards 2022 was sucessfully hosted at the open lawns of Sofitel BKC on the 15th of December, 2022. Talking about the various award categories at the event, The glorious and unique ‘Interior Fit-out Project of the Year’ category was awarded to Concept Consilio. It was amazing to see the team from Concept Consilio come together as one, along with the firm’s director, Ashwin Aryamane (centre), to accept the award. The British Petroleum’s concept revolves around a blend of Organic Architecture and Technology. This workplace that exudes a futuristic character with harmonious inlay of technology and biophilia.

Look and Feel

The Firm aimed to reinforce the brand culture and foster innovation through collaboration and technology. The introduction of elements, textures and details of the Indian culture defines the space, making it original and unique, there by ensuring a sense of harmony between man and technology.

Sustainability

  • Passive design first: Optimize ambient lighting
  • Insulation, heating, cooling and ventilation
  • Minimize materials with high emboided energy impacts.
  • Product reuse, recyucled content, and recyclable.
  • Materials should be priotitized.
  • Prioritize indoor air quality
  • Use natural plants.

Work experience

The designers wanted to create a place for people that means variety, texture, character and warmth. The place would also reflect diversity, innovation and humanity.

There are hints of plants and greenery, natural materials like wood and stone, layered textures, earthy tones and pops of color. They have dressed the space with art and objects to make it feel like home.

In this office project, Factors such as user well being, technology, the fabrication of space and diversity and inclusion were taken special care.
