Text description provided by the architects. A restaurant built on pure passion for pan-Asian cuisine gets equally passionately created interiors to kick start its culinary journey. Just the way the expert chefs of Miss Nora whip up authentic Far-Eastern flavours at the recently opened fine dining spot in Raja Garden, New Delhi, the interior designers, Beyond Designs, take the guests right into the cherry blossom season in Japan.

The restaurant spells Japanese charm right from the outset. The grilled walls and the name plate suggest that carefully considered details have gone into the designing of the interiors of the restaurant.

Inside, the designers indeed curate an environment reminiscent of the Far-East. A life-sized cherry blossom tree full of beautiful blooms in the middle of the restaurant is the highlight of Miss Nora. A soothing berry, blue and light grey colour scheme keeps things fresh and vibrant.
The petite chairs, wooden space dividers take a clue from the region’s tradition. The lights over the tables, the partition screens and imagery on the walls all capture the essence of the land of the cuisine served.

The large looping wrought iron light with bulbs all around truly complements the space.
Added to this is a gallery of framed photographs depicting the far-eastern life and moods across the length of a wall. So at Miss Nora, it is not just a gastronomic journey, but a travel into the culture of the region.

“Working on this project became extra special since I have known Richa for some years now. Understanding the client’s sensibilities always helps in imparting a deeper, refreshing facet to décor,” says Sachin Gupta, Founder and Principal Designer, Beyond Designs.
