Asian Granito completes expansion of Crystal Ceramics facility

Asian Granito India Limited (AGIL) has completed a major expansion at its step subsidiary Crystal Ceramics by acquiring Artistique Ceramic through an amalgamation scheme approved by Gujarat High Court. Chairman and MD, Kamlesh Patel said, “(This) acquisition was a strategic decision, as it enjoyed a natural gas supply arrangement with ONGC – which is significantly lower than the prevailing market price. With this expansion, production capacity of Crystal Ceramics has reached 27,000sq-m a day. The plant will make double charged vitrified tiles in large formats for the domestic (market) as well (as for) export.”
