Solar lamp for rural areas

(NULL)

With an objective to resolve lighting issues in non-electrified regions, Panasonic India introduced its range of Solar LED lights, as part of their initiative to donate 1,00,000 solar LED lanterns. This light fixture is fully rechargeable in five hours, and emits light uni-directionally (120 degrees). It comes with a 1.25-watt output solar panel and a mobile charging port, and can provide up to six hours of light at the maximum brightness setting. Manish Sharma, MD, Panasonic India said, “These will minimise the dependence of rural households on firewood and dung cakes.”
