1. What was the brief from the client? And how did you achieve the same intertwining of your style?
We wanted to design a sales office for a while so when we got this opportunity , we were super excited , client wanted to create an office which will be sales office for their reality arm catering to midsegment housing with all BOH required for the same and management . We have created a Space which is practical, comfortable and done with contemporary design sensibilities. It is important to understand business needs while designing any office space. it is aptly mentioned by Steve jobs
“Design is a Funny word Some people think design means how it looks, but of course, if you dig deeper , it’s really how it works. “

2. With evolving office designs, what latest trends have you absorbed into this project?
People are liking to do business in a space which more designed like a hospitality space.
3. What are the environment-friendly initiatives taken for this project?
Large part of the space is finished with stucco , which is made from natural ingredients , water based , breathable and zero VOC . HVAC system is VRV cassette and ducted supplies and units giving individual control and allowing local switching on/off resulting in energy efficient usage .For all painted partitions we have used thicker mdf as a base instead of plywood , which prevents further layering of material and mdf is more sustainable than plywood.

4. Can you give us insights on the selection of furniture and finishes of the project?
All meeting room Tables and Director’s tables and sofa are custom made keeping in mind the comforts of end users with utmost attention to fabric selections.
5. What were the difficulties, or first setbacks encountered?
The office space is located in a very old commercial building with polygonal shape and too many beams and columns. Client’s wish list was really big for the amount of space this office had. At some point , the tightly planned space was taking everything away from intended look and feel. Luckily this was understood by our clients and some things were offloaded, which really helped create the breathing space required to make space more enjoyable.

6. If you had to name the design style used, what would it be?
The office is designed in chic contemporary style. We have intentionally stayed away from open ceiling , industrial /Media office styles .
7. What were the inspirations and key concepts for the development of the project?
This office had a unique mix, it was to do sales as well house top management

8. What is your favourite element of design in the project?
I love the sublime lift and elegance stucco paint brings to any environment . I believe it connects to most segments from high-end to mid segment .

9. If you had to describe the project in 2-3 words what would it be?
This office is all , contemporary, warm , minimal and chic and upmarket at the same time.
10. Explain the use of colors and/or other details to add value to the design.
We wanted to do reception in earthy Peachy pink color to have a very unique identity. Interior design and especially office design has been dominated by cooler tones for very many years, and too bright in last couple of years and it’s about time to add some warmth, and so this pleasant color which instantly brings about hospitable vibes. The reception table is done with fluted panels, in light wood color with white hard surface tops. Having the same finish in entire reception is enhancing the scale of the space. Simple walls are creatively balanced by curved ceiling recesses housing rich contemporary chandeliers.
