Blending sustainability and sombre pastel interiors

Spread over an area of 4300 sq. ft, the restaurant is a seamless marriage of sustainability and sombre pastel interiors that reflect the peace of a holistic balance found between the mind, body & soul. The restaurant ensures a meditative trance just by the look of its interiors.

The colour therapy of soft pastels and natural greens combined with the textural play of the furniture and the bar entrances the viewer to find comfort in the space. The entire colour scheme of the restaurant revolves around the very idea of MI-BO-SO. The combination of colours and choice of materials represents the warmth, freedom, and fruition of a being. It helps bring in a pleasant energy to the space that makes dining indoors an ethereal experience.

A calm opulence

Crisp white walls, luxurious marble, warm woods, and green accents combine to create an inviting and premium dining space for a unique experience of sophisticated opulence. The calming ambiance is further enhanced by the addition of planters all around the restaurant.

The concept to bring the outdoors indoors merge well in this space and does not overpower the interiors with the natural greenery.

Dining designs

The dining pace embraces the idea of minimalistic décor and soft colour schemes. The straight lines of the space is given an illusion of softened angles by the smart furniture placement and area segregations done by weaves of plants within.

Breaking the monotony

The curves of the furniture help break the monotony of the straight lines of the restaurant and the lush texture brings in an elegance to the eye of the beholder. Mimicking natural elements, organic shapes, fluted patterns, and soft textures, the entire seating evokes a muted scheme.

Bringing the greenery indoors

The infusion of steel in the exposed ceiling and the hanging planters further offer a rustic edge to the interiors. This often makes one feel as if they are sitting in a garden, surrounded by fresh organic smells.

The interiors represent a notion of a healthier way of living, with an infusion of green planters and breathable dining space. This offers the diners an exclusive insight into nurturing themselves towards a more holistic lifestyle. The food served matches the exquisite interior palette with decor soothing the eyes.

A metal partition with a green planted mesh on three sides of the designated dining area seeks to invite the outdoors inside. The partition also offers a spacious seating chart and thus feels like a soft cape lawn.

Lighting scheme

The moody lighting scheme further offers a muted presence and highlights the natural greens.

The diners, with the infusion of soft yellow lighting, are transported to the feeling of sitting in a garden by being surrounded by hanging planters, boxed pots, and coiled green streamers.

Bar details

Semi-circular bar counter material is masked with fluted royal blue coloured strips, which immediately capture one’s eye with their patterned beauty. Above the counter is a suspended semi-circular platform meant for holding glasses and hanging plants to add a touch of greenery.

Holding true to the saying ‘Live well & Eat well’, the restaurant captures that to its minutest essence.

Aiming to provoke minimalistic luxury, the designer evenly highlights that opulency can exist even with sustainability.
