H2R Design has elevated and refined the second branch of Shaziz, a popular shawarma restaurant in Riyadh. Located in a community mall, the restaurant captures bold and energetic vibes to entice diners to enjoy the fun and interactive experience.
H2R Design took a careful approach to refining the colour scheme by reducing the variety of colours, making the space more operationally friendly, yet still retaining the brand’s vibrancy and love for both shawarmas and gyros. The design firm welcomed guests with a tile-patterned floor that reflects the complex layers of food being served.

The restaurant boasts neon signage throughout, interactive graphics, and Instagrammable spots, including conversation starter placards on the entrance wall. A live feed of posts, stories, and comments from the restaurant’s social media accounts is displayed on the wall, adding to the interactive experience.

H2R Design chose a variety of seating options such as communal booths and banquettes to allow customers to enjoy the space, whether alone, with family, or in groups. Materials such as metal meshes, ribbed glass, and geometric tile patterns bring about an industrial-inspired factory feel that acts as the perfect canvas for the pops of colour that naturally bring vibrancy.

In addition to the design features, the food preparation area has been purposely exposed and made visible to customers to indulge in the unique creation process, an authentic feast for all the senses.
Shaziz’s second branch is designed to bring families and friends together for a fun and interactive experience. Its new bold and energetic vibe is intended to complement the shawarmas and gyros.
