Building a module
Built for a businessman who deals in chemicals, the office is crisp and formal, to go in the lines of the company profile that serves around 40 employees. Solid wood is used for frames but not in a typical paneling. The idea was to create a concept for every room by building a module of 18”X7.5’, where every room was given a particular material. These materials would be enclosed in the rectangular modules and that is why it is called a box office.

Each module is of 18”X7.5’, and the materials are enclosed in the modules. The reception area has these boxes infused with high quality Brazilian quartz, and there is diagonal wooden finish flooring here. The color palette comprise of three colors- teak, grey and black, the reception tables and the panels are also designed in the same fashion.

Mesmerizing textures
Every room has its own special material enclosed within frames. In the meeting room, there is an acoustic board to have sound insulation and to use as soft-board. In these panels, you will find a glass white board. The rich teak color of panel gives a lot of warmth in every room.

There was only one direction of source of light and windows so the office is kept open. Even the workstations are built on-site with the concept of solid wood and color. The main open space area has 2-3 materials in the panels. The section where there are cubicles has stone veneers.
Detailed interiors

On the farther end on the left are the main chambers. They have marble-looking black tiles which are matte.

In the main area, there is a meeting point in between two workstations where the teams can have an informal discussion or hang around for a coffee break.

There is also a presentation space with a dropdown screen; the employees can assemble here to have an informal presentation. The discussion table is round with inlay work on the top. Altogether, this space becomes the focal point in the entire office.

On the farther end are three rooms- two are directors’ chamber and in between the directors’ chambers is a lounge. The lounge has a warm color scheme and is connected to one director’s chamber and infuses generous amount of light into the space. Instead of a typical meeting room, the director chose to have a cozy lounge where he can meet his visitors or even rest.

The second director’s chamber has wallpaper, while the other one has Italian marble in panels and the lounge has leather padding. Hence, in every room, in same panels of the same modules, we have different materials that segregate these areas. The office plan also includes the pantry for an informal lunch.
The final touch
All the borders of the boxes are of solid wood. The rich teak color gives a lot of warmth in every room. The workstations are built on-site with the concept of solid wood and color. All the doors are solid wood black Japanese ash finish with customized handles.

Everything, from a knob to a handle is customized. The ceilings are exposed to get in more room.
