Loma IT Park is a well-planned, state-of-the-art, sustainable, functional and energy efficient IT-ITeS complex that has the flexibility to meet the changing needs of businesses in future. It boasts of a high quality, premium contemporary building that conveys the strength and integrity of both, the SEZ and business.
The client intended to shift their official base from South Mumbai to Navi Mumbai. As part of the proposed 30-acre development, breaking ground with small site facility-cum-corporate office on barren land, it was paramount to prepare the basic infrastructure for the facility.
Having the facts known about immediate master planning development, coordinating the infrastructure necessities with site office building was key to avoiding duplications or changeover. The design intent was proposing a facility that serves for a corporate setup, from where work can efficiently be delivered in all aspects. Considering the life of building, the structure was proposed in PEB (Pre-engineered building) with dedicated blocks for different facilities, considering the workflow, footfall and the functions.
Designed for future growth, the SEZ also has options for a Software Technology Park and Built to Suit Spaces. Large flexible floor plates, sustainable design and a wealth of upmarket amenities are a few of the features that distinguish the development as Navi Mumbai’s new centre for commercial growth. It provides a good ecosystem for IT-ITeS companies.
Loma IT Park is designed as per LEED Platinum Standards, emphasising its ecologically conscious design and creating a positive impact on the health of its occupants. Its high quality, safe and secure mixed-use campus stimulates and encourages the walk-to-work concept to achieve a high level of success, increases productivity and upgrades lifestyles.
The campus is a well thought design that creates a unique confluence of ‘Prakriti’ and ‘Purush’ by the merger of the spiritual and the materialistic, the core and the surroundings. The square form of the buildings dictate the architectural expression of ‘Purush’, the male component, while the flowing forms dictate the landscape expression of ‘Prakriti’, the female component.
Direct access to office spaces from parking levels, integrated technologies for energy-efficiency and water conservation, high-speed elevators, dedicated spaces for server rooms, conferencing facilities, highly efficient central core, integrated building management system, active digital antenna system and campus Wi-Fi, etc, are some of the features that craft an innovative, user-friendly and utterly functional design.
Being the primary development on the campus, the aim was to propose a facade that provokes and ignites the visibility of the complete development to each engaged member of the team and the visiting customer. And it’s the very form of the building that imbibes a dynamic character and communicates the potential of the project as a whole.
