  • What is the inspiration behind your design firm’s name?

We believe in essential design that has maximum impact. Its minimal aesthetics focus on comfort, calmness and functionality, yet offer a deep and sensorial experience. Our brand name is derived from our design philosophy.

  • What is that one design book/movie you found inspiring? 
    We find inspiration in Ayn Rand’s ‘Fountainhead’, as we resonate with the unconventional ideas of its protagonist architect Howard Roark. 
  • In what ways does your personality reflect in your designs? 
    It is in the simple and straight-forward design. 
  • What inspires you in your day-to-day architectural practice? 
    It’s the happy, comfortable and functional spaces that we create for our clients that inspire us in our everyday practice.  
  • Do you have a signature style? 
    The minimalistic contemporary aesthetic is our signature style. 
  • The one design philosophy you swear by? 
    If something is not needed, get rid of it. 
  • The one design quote you find timeless? 
    It’s what Coco Chanel said: Before you leave the house, look in the mirror and take one thing off. 
  • A hobby that sets you apart?

Indulging in physical activities like playing squash and gym routines.  

  • A message to those few young practising Architects out there?

Our message to young architects is, be diligent, work hard and do good. Success will follow.
