1.What is the inspiration behind your design firm’s name?
We chose the name Arquite because we wanted it to reflect “The kids of architecture”. In our logo, there are three lines and a Q representing architecture’s multiple layers, and space respectively along with a scope for constant improvement and growth intact.
2. What is that one design book/movie you found inspiring?
As an architect, I am a huge fan of Matrix because it shows that we don’t simply create spaces. It’s not a virtual space for us, it’s a reality we live when we’re designing.

3. In what ways does your personality reflect in your designs?
I tend to be a very minimal person, we are not very socially savvy, we are not loud and yet when we design, we design some new stuff which won’t be loud.
4. What inspires you in your day-to-day architectural practice?
Anything could trigger, be it inspiration, a moment of beauty, or a strange outfit. Could be nice written stuff to a conversation with somebody to just sitting somewhere on there having a beer and you suddenly see something else in a totally different perspective. I think design is everywhere we can’t be we have to be open to it once.

5. Who is your favourite architect?
Zaha Hadid has been my favorite architect.
6. Do you have a signature style?
We don’t have any particular signature style but our overall design sensibilities are minimalistic clean spaces yet not losing the overall warmth of the space.

7. The one design philosophy you swear by?
Minimalism.
8. The one design quote you find timeless?
There is this quote “You can stick it to the bare minimum but never take the poetry out of it”.

9. A hobby that sets you apart?
I love writing; it feels like pouring out my emotions.
10. A message to those few young practising Architects out there?
Fortunately, I had an experience of being into retail designing to doing retail marketing and eventually to event designing, so I would say don’t let architecture limit you.

11. Which design blog/page/handle do you follow avidly?
I do follow Dezeen for new ideas and inspirations in design.
