New Delhi-based firm 42mm Architecture unveils a stylish party lounge that is the perfect place for all kinds of social gatherings. A fusion of contemporary and rustic interiors, it is a chic and cool space.
The lounge design honors both the structural edge of the rustic interiors and the clean geometry of contemporary style. The walls are wooden, except for one that has been given a bare brick look, bringing a rustic and industrial look to the space. The coffer slab ceiling adds a classic element, while also adding character to the interiors.
The minimal bar and the accompanying chairs give a clean and sophisticated look. The glass cabinet paneled behind the bar, with the internal lighting, creates a mellow mood. The two pairs of upholstered armchairs on either side provide more seating for guests. The amalgamation of rustic and contemporary interiors casts a spotlight on the structural elements. Apart from the bold artwork of a horse, art and accessories are limited, the light fixtures and furnishings acting as accessories.
