1. What is the inspiration behind your design firm’s name?
Altus is a latin word which means to scale heights. The idea was to set newer benchmarks with every project and to keep raising the bar.
2. What is that one design book/movie you found inspiring?
There is inspiration everywhere, all around us be it art, nature, films, family..we need to live in “awareness” and that to me is the most important part of the journey.
3. In what ways does your personality reflect in your designs?
Originality, Glamorous, bold and love colors which gets reflected in my design language.
4. What inspires you in your day-to-day architectural practice?
It’s my passion for interior design which inspires me to create afresh each day. Along with my two beautiful children who continue to inspire me to become a better version of myself each day!
5. Who is your favourite architect?
Zaha Hadid.
6. Do you have a signature style?
While I don’t abide by any school of thought and have no specific design style. I am extremely passionate and focused on detailing which reflects in my work.
7. The one design philosophy you swear by?
The Clients’ sensibilities reinterpreted artfully.
8. The one design quote you find timeless?
If you want to be original be ready to get copied.
9. A hobby that sets you apart?
Painting helps me express my thoughts and ideas beautifully.
