A sales office like no other. It all started from just a shell (Industrial shed) & an existing load bearing structure. Inspired by beautiful Kerala homes.
A site office which incorporates vernacular architecture which is testament to the region’s rich cultural and climatic diversity and designing space that is functional, comfortable and aesthetically pleasing.
To give the same feel , the skylight was designed with the seating/waiting area below allowing natural light to beam in. The unusual pyramid skylight has eye-catching wooden frames which draws the attention to the recessed seating below.
The rectangular base was a perfect fit for the steep sloping roof. And when cladded with timber, it gives a distinctive character with the red color of roof tiles. To match the wood color, shera board false ceiling is done.
The intricately carved Manchari door with brass hardware added another homely feel to it. The detailing let the elements in making the site office feel and seem, a place of traditional warmth.
The brief given by the client of having the office as home away from home is being achieved by their design and execution team.
