Glimpse into the recently held Knowledge Hour by FM Zone

The FM Zone North-India chapter recently concluded yet another edition of their ‘Quarterly Get Together – Knowledge Hour”. With the FM industry constantly gaining momentum, the event demonstrates the thought leadership of the fraternity, addressing various issues. Supported by Satya Shetty of Shetty Sons Corporate Catering Services, the aim of the meet is to strengthen this platform, which would lead to high amount of operational and strategic collaboration in the industry.

Awards distribution for the multiple initiatives that were driven across the FM Zone was conferred by industry seniors Arun Khanna and Capt Rajesh Sharma. The keynote address of the evening was delivered by Chef Aditya Jaimini, from Crown Plaza, Rohini, elucidates the members with insights from his vast experience of handling the F&B domain. He shared his professional journey, while highlighting the importance of food services in the corporate. His insights on institutional catering were valuable and gave the members deeper understanding of the subject.

This was then ensued by a panel discussion that was chaired by Ravi Prakash Tyagi, who established an engaging discourse “Importance of Food in Facilities Management” with Major Gaurav Arya of Spice Group, Deepak Ohlyan from Dell, Chef Sudhir Sibal and Rahul Agarwal from GE.

The event was also honored to witness a guest speech by Chef Manjit Gill, corporate chef of ITC Group of Hotels, who shared his knowledge of food, taste, gastronomy, ingredients, handling, managing the life cycles, weathers and related theories around the kind of food to be consumed.
