DLF Cybercity, Chennai achieves Platinum LEED Certification from the USGBC

DLF Cybercity, Chennai, a major and established IT SEZ district, has been awarded LEED Platinum certification for nine office buildings under the Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Rating System by the US Green Building Council. Sriram Khattar, CEO of DLF’s Rental Business, said, “Centralised core design for maximum efficiency, recreational green OXY Zone, excellent natural light penetration, and dedicated safety measures are a few of the features that helped us achieve this prestigious Platinum rating.” DLF’s 26 office buildings, including 12 buildings in Gurgaon, have LEED certification, totaling 5.65million sq-ft under Platinum and 16.61million sq-ft under Gold certification.
