1. What is the inspiration behind your design firm’s name?
One thing that was key in my mind, was to have a name which is easy to remember so that I don’t have to bombard people’s minds with the name. And the other was an unrelated name so that it doesn’t bind me to what I do or what I make in the future.
2. What is that one design book/movie you found inspiring?
Abstract show on Netflix. The art of innovation book. These two things are one of the best.

3. In what ways does your personality reflect in your designs?
I myself am a person who likes to be different. If you ask anyone who knows me, they’ll confirm to the fact that I like to play around with the clothes I wear, and the food I eat. I like to explore. Be it a city, or a cuisine, or a software. And I don’t like cliche things at all. All these traits of mine are reflected in White Studios products. Wha white stands for is to be pure and unique and break the monotony.
4. What inspires you in your day-to-day practice?
My father, no question about it.

Yes, and that is to be different and give the market a very fresh approach. Different in all the way possible is my signature.

“You imagination is a very powerful tool” and “If no one hates it, no one really loves it”
9. A hobby that sets you apart?
Observation and not giving up on something easily. If something is not easy to manufacture, or not easy to sketch, it makes it all the more interesting.

10. A message to those few young practising designers out there?
Ask 100 questions google a thousand things, observe a million things and remember them. You never know what past knowledge/observation may solve your today’s problem or give you an inspiration today.
11. Which design blog/page/handle do you follow avidly?
Yanko design, Karim Rashid, and most of the automobile pages. I love cars!
