New York headquartered Humanscale, designer and manufacturer of high-performance ergonomic products that improve the health and comfort of work-life, has opened its first exclusive showroom in Bengaluru. The showroom promises to be the best one-stop shopping destination in India for world class ergonomic products. Conveniently located at 12th Main Road, Indiranagar, the new initiative is a joint venture between Humanscale and its India distribution partner, S Cube Ergonomics, founded by Sathish Nandagopal.
Established with a mission to build an ergonomic India, the 2,400 sq-ft exclusive office plus showroom features Humanscale’s award-winning ergonomic chairs, sit/stand desks, new monitor arms and ergonomic tools. The showroom targets not only the B2B segment (architects, designers, building project managers, facilities managers, IT managers, corporate heads, etc.), but also the Retail and MSME segment (WFH professionals, students, small and medium enterprises, etc.).
“Humanscale, present in India for almost 15 years, has been primarily focusing on the high-end corporate segment until now,” explained Alastair Stubbs, country manager India, Humanscale. “Going ahead, with S Cube Ergonomics, we will also target the Retail and SME segments, where we see a huge opportunity, in addition to the corporate segment to fuel our next phase of expansion in India. Plans are afoot to have another 2-3 exclusive showrooms in other cities by end 2021.”
