Square Foot launches ‘Co-extrusion’, an all-new range of outdoor composite deck

Square Foot recently announced
the launch of ‘Co-extrusion’, a
range of outdoor composite deck. It
is a capped wood plastic composite,
which means it has an advanced
premium shield encasing all four sides
around its inner core. The shield
and core are extruded together
under a very high temperature
mold simultaneously, so there are
no adhesives or chemicals used that
could be harmful to the environment.
The core is made from carefully
selected recycled material and highly dense recycled hardwood and softwood fibers that allow for
greater strength and durability, and best of all it’s 100 per cent recyclable.
Gaurav Saraf, joint MD of Square Foot, said, “We initiated a project to design and formulate the
most durable, attractive, fade- and scratch-resistant and most reliable outdoor composite deck in
the industry. Co-extrusion deck is a result of our efforts and has emerged as a game changer in the
composite decking industry.”
Introduced in three colours – Ipe, Walnut and Teak – the range boasts of being completely
maintenance free and comes with a ten-year guarantee.
