Jaipur Rugs in collaboration with Gauri Khan will unveil their latest collection at Maison & Objet Paris this month. Jaipur Rugs is known for its exquisite rug designs and its curated line-up of contemporary, transitional and eclectic carpets — all skillfully handmade, one knot at a time, in rural India. This time the brand got Khan on board to exclusively design the Tattvam range, where she directly worked with the rural artisans of Rajasthan. Inspired by the rustic countryside of India, Tattvam has been hand-knotted by the local women artisans using the finest silk and wool rugs. Perfecting the timeless art of handmade luxury rugs, each piece by Jaipur Rugs passes through 180 hands, and represents a blend of colours, textures and designs. “Every luxury carpet that is exported globally by Jaipur Rugs to over 135 cities is not just a piece of art to walk on, but connects the urban consumers with the emotions and stories of thousands of empowered weavers,” stated the brand, which was started in 1978 as a family business that integrates current designs with the sustenance of the communities. The masterpiece collection will be unveiled at Maison & Objet Paris, the international authority for home decor, interior design, architecture and lifestyle culture and trends, that’s being held from January 19-23.
