AN AMALGAMATION OF TRADITIONAL AND CONTEMPORARY
• The site is located in the centre of the city with colonial-era buildings on wide tree-lined streets. The building goes back to 1980’s where the outside structure is a beautiful stone masonry and wooden windows.
• A nice blend between rustic and finished elements was envisioned by the client.
• With a carpet area of 875 sq. ft., this office space was designed to serve the needs of the client. The project program basically consists of three main spaces: a large work room, a conference room and two director cabins.
MATERIAL PALETTE
• Taking one strong gift from nature like wood, and the other a neutral white washed walls was the aim in design.
• The neutral grey feature wall, the white brick masonry wall panelling, and the exposed track lights coexist in harmony with natural wood, and washed walls.
RECEPTION
• Reception table with a wooden top against the white brick wall and wooden paneling creates a striking contrast of warm and contemporary.
• A customised bench with a unique seating detail was designed to complements the space.
CONFERENCE AND DIRECTOR CABINS:
• The conference and director tables are customised to suit the client requirements with wooden conical legs and tops finished in veneer. Every piece of furniture in the office space is designed with minute attention to details. The storage cabinets are carefully designed keeping in mind the storage requirement in a beautiful and seamless manner.
