Mahindra World City, Chennai – Established in 2002, MWC Chennai is India’s first integrated business city developed in public-private partnership (between Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd. and Tamil Nadu Industrial Development Corporation: 89 -11). It spans approximately 1500 acres and includes a business zone which is divided into three sector specific SEZs for IT, Auto Ancillaries and Apparel & Fashion Accessories; and a Domestic Tariff Area.
68 transnational companies, including BMW, BASF, Infosys, Fujitec, NTN Bearings, Lear Automotive, TVS Group of companies and Force Motors, have set up operations at MWC Chennai. The Special Economic Zone at MWC Chennai has generated exports worth approximately INR 1,09,541 Crores (as of Q2 FY’22).
MWC Chennai is currently home to 2500+ families across its five multi-format residential projects. Residents have convenient access to social infrastructure located within the integrated city. The CBSE-affiliated Mahindra World School, a hospital, banks and ATMs, a commercial centre with

It is spread across approximately 3000 acres. The business zone comprises a multi-product SEZ (encompassing approx. 1500 acres) and a Domestic Tariff Area (DTA). The residential/social zone within MWC Jaipur is currently in the planning stage.
