Workafella, one of the leading co-working space providers in the country, has been recognized and awarded the ‘Excellence in Quality Award 2020’ for employee wellness program at the 12th edition of TANCARE-Chennai 2020 by FICCI. Mr. Shray Rattha, Director, Workafella, was at the event to receive the award from Health Secretary of Tamil Nadu, Dr. Beela Rajesh at Hotel Taj Connemara, Chennai.
TANCARE is a platform that brings health professionals and medical experts together to discover ways to improve health indices in the state. TANCARE also felicitates top achievers in the healthcare industry every year. The theme for this year’s edition was ‘Preventive Healthcare – A Gl(r)owing Industry’. TANCARE 2020, FICCI’s annual flagship event brought in experts from around the country to discuss and debate on various issues related to improving the health and wellness of the people. Around 150 to 200 delegates including MD & CEOs of private medical hospitals, senior independent doctors and consultants, hospital administrators and senior professionals from the healthcare industry were present at the event.
FICCI presented 26 awards in more than 14 categories including Life Time Achievement, Best Primary Health Center, Employee Wellness, Best Government Hospital, Best Private Hospital (Medium, Large), Best Non-Profit Hospital, Special Award — Mental Health, Specialty Medicine, Reproductive Medicine, Diabetes, Ophthalmology, Innovation in Healthcare, Emergency & Trauma Care, Alternative Medicine at the event.
