Client Manoj Nair came to the Squelette design team with a budget of 15 lakhs to create a contemporary corporate office space for 50 employees, including the MD. The designers had to work it out in such a way that the whole capacity is accommodated, while making sure the space looks airy and light.
“A very low-heighted ceiling and beam grids made us decide the office in certain portions. The idea was to play with colors over a basic theme, only to make the volume look elegant and decent.” the designers say.
A glimpse of the company’s philosophy was provided at the entrance in the form of paneling to give an idea of what they are affiliated with. A cozy waiting area opens up to the long passage to unveil the whole office space.
While ample storage has been provided to cater to the everyday needs, glass as the table top makes the space look open and bright. Patterns, crafted in front of employee’s tables, tailors a unique focal point and a blue hue accents the wood-governed workplace.
