In today’s world, minimalistic and modern designs dominate the furniture and interior industry. However, The recent project in Jasola, by Nitin Kohli Home allowed them to break away from the trend and embrace the timeless beauty of classical French aesthetics.
They had the privilege of designing a boutique commercial office that displays charm and elegance through its classical French elegance.
Design approach
The design approach aimed to create a space where tradition and luxury harmoniously accompany functionality and comfort. This unique fusion of styles truly showcases the versatility of interior design and its ability to transform spaces into fascinating environments.

Embracing the leather era
The office was divided into two spaces for the liquor company, one for the CEO (Father) and another for the MD (Son). The CEO’s office possesses a colour palette of olive and tan, complemented by rich and twisted burl veneers. To enhance the luxurious feel, we incorporated leather and pure hide materials, along with magnificent Lladrò Ganesha lamps and a silverware tea set. The hardwood floors, enhanced with a rich Persian silk rug, added warmth and magnificence to the space. Handcrafted furniture and a hand-painted ceiling completed the classical French ambience.
MD office’s hues, textures and more…
Moving to the MD’s office, the architect opted for crimson leather tones blended with black veneer and wood finishes.

Charcoal sketches of wildlife decorated the walls, adding a touch of personality and uniqueness. Considering the limited ceiling height, the group strategically used soft hues of lighting, particularly focusing on the desk and incorporating bracket lights on the walls.

Similar to the CEO’s office, hardwood floors, handcrafted furniture, and a hand-painted ceiling were utilised to maintain the symmetrical design theme.

Jasola, with its new classical French-inspired commercial office, now stands as evidence of the beauty that lies in embracing different design styles.

This project serves as a reminder that in the domain of interior design, there are no limits to creativity, and by stepping outside the norm, one can create spaces that are truly beautiful and inspiring.Â
