1. What is the inspiration behind your design firm’s name?

With an aim to cover all facets of architectural design, we named our firm Design Avenues.

2. What is that one design book/movie you found inspiring?

Architecture: Form, space and order by Francis DK Ching.

3. In what ways does your personality reflect in your designs?

Being a person with a curious mind and keen interest in art and culture, I yern for detailed analysis in each project and try to connect it with the socio-cultural context, emphasis is laid on  detailing and practicality.

4. What inspires you in your day-to-day architectural practice?

An urge to do better then yesterday, to create a better environment for the future generations.

5. Who is your favourite architect?

Frank Lloyd wright.

6. Do you have a signature style?

I don’t believe in any particular style, while designing I try to focus on the socio-cultural relevance of the project.

7. The one design philosophy you swear by?

 Make it simple and connect with nature.

8. The one design quote you find timeless? 

Architecture is frozen music by Lee corbusier.

9. A hobby that sets you apart?

Travelling.

10. A message to those few young practising Architects out there?

Search for extraordinariness in ordinary things.
