Adding another ground-breaking task chair to its existing product line-up in the category, Herman Miller launched its latest Cosmtask chair, designed by their long time collaborators, Berlin-based firm, Studio 7.5. The Cosm swivel chair aims to adapt to the user’s posture without the need for manual change in settings. Built using Herman Miller’s proprietary auto-harmonic tilt technology, “which instantly provides balanced support and movement corresponding to the user’s body, posture, and seated position,” according to a press statement by the firm, the chair harnesses two decades of engineering and design research with a deep understanding of the science behind how people sit and work.
The streamlined chairs are available in a variety of muted or vibrant frame and backing colours including glacier, graphite, and canyon, which can all be customised. These chairs are also available in low-, mid-, and high-back configurations and can be stipulated with no arms, fixed arms, or leaf arms. In addition, casters and glides to best suit the user’s requirement are also available.
