1. What is the inspiration behind your design firm’s name?
Our constant endeavour to create spaces that go beyond mere aesthetics where design is a way of life. This is what defines I’m D’Sign.

Geoffrey Bawa – The complete works

3. In what ways does your personality reflect in your designs?
You’ll find the spaces I design to be highly organised and very functional, an extension of who I am as a person.
4. What inspires you in your day-to-day architectural practice?
The addiction to keep innovating and doing better than what I’ve already accomplished.
5. Who is your favourite architect?
I have been very inspired by the works of Geoffrey Bawa during my earlier years in the field. During the course, I also relate a lot to the works of Tadao Ando and the way he infuses a spirit in the spaces he designs. It’s very inspiring.
6. Do you have a signature style?
Design is not just what it looks like or feels like, Design is also how it works.

7. The one design philosophy you swear by?
Functionality and Aesthetics go hand in hand.
8. The one design quote you find timeless?
Details are the very source of expression in design.
9. A hobby that sets you apart?
Cooking. The Lockdown gave me ample time to hone the craft of bread making at home.
10. A message to those few young practising Architects out there?
Never stop Learning.

I follow a few but none in particular.
